Class Times:
Monday 8.00 pm
Wednesday 8.00 pm
Saturday 10.30 am

Attendance may be 1, 2 or 3 classes weekly for most of the 10 weeks
2nd and 3rd classes can be added as new courses start. There is no extra charge.

Social Dancing is a general style of Ballroom and Latin American dancing covering the well known dances suitable for public dances - our students go out dancing 2 to 3 times each weekend. Many of our students also learn to dance for special occasions like weddings, parties, cruises, or just for fun exercise. The JOHN YOUNG SYSTEM makes learning easy for all abilities and ages. These courses are specially suitable for first time dancers, and improvers.

This course covers basic technique and good style, the standard steps and selected variations.

Our students enjoy this course very much and many progress to higher levels.

INTERNATIONAL STYLE - Standard style throughout the world as taught with the JOHN YOUNG SYSTEM which has been developed over 59 years of teaching many thousands of Aucklanders.

Studios are mirrored and air conditioned and provide an excellent atmosphere for learning. Our teaching team, chosen for their special abilities, are dedicated to give you the best possible tuition.

The 10 week course covers these popular fun dances:

Waltz * Foxtrot * Rock & Roll * Quickstep * Cha Cha Cha * Rhumba * American Swing (Jive) * Tango * Samba

All made easy in a course structured for results. For instance, tango in 15 minutes.

How the Course Works

John Young Dance Centre's 10 week courses are the only courses in Auckland with fixed start dates and 1½ hour classes.

Classes are structured for easy progress with time for revision and practise - and produces totally positive results.

There are two 5 week blocks in each 10 week course. This is a very important part of the system. Each block covers half the dances and makes for easier learning.

The option is available, at no extra charge, to attend more than one social class a week. After you've joined you can start coming on the next start date of the other social classes - up to 3 classes per week.

Over 90,000 Aucklanders have been taught by the unique John Young method.

Come out dancing with John Young Dance Centre dance groups. Everyone is made very welcome.

	10.30 am to 12 noon Saturday

Fees:

	10 weeks - 1½ hour classes
	$255.00 (incl GST) Couples* $460.00 Includes free access to other 2 classes on their next enrolment date (ie up to 3 classes per week)
	Fees can be paid in 3 installments over first 3 weeks

*A couple is defined as one person learning the man's part and one person learning the lady's part
